Bio
Tricia Keightley is a painter based in Brooklyn, New York. After studies at Parsons School of Design and receiving a B.F.A. in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, Keightley has exhibited in the United States and internationally in solo and group shows. Her paintings are engineered abstractions comprised of imagined mechanical elements. Keightley has been the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Painting and a MacDowell Colony Residency. Keightley received a 2012 commission from New York’s Metropolitan Transit Authority Arts for Transit program. Most recently, Keightley was included in “Take Five”, a show of five women working in abstraction, at the University of Buffalo. Keightley debuted her first large-scale video in this show as well as paintings.
