Bio
Sarah Faux holds an MFA from Yale University, and a joint BA/BFA from Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design. Faux has had solo exhibitions at Thierry Goldberg Gallery (New York, NY) in 2017 and at Stems Gallery (Brussels, BE) in 2016. Her work has been exhibited in group shows at Fredericks & Freiser (New York, NY), yours, mine & ours (New York, NY), ltd los angeles (Los Angeles, CA), Cuevas Tilleard (New York, NY), Capsule Shanghai (Shanghai, CN) and Shoot the Lobster (New York, NY). Faux has participated in several residencies including Yaddo, Cuevas Tilleard Projects in Lamu, Kenya and a fellowship at the Ox-bow School of Art. Her paintings have been written about in Modern Painters, The Wall Street Journal, Interview Magazine, Hyperallergic, and Artsy, among others. Faux lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
