Bio
Riley Strom is an oil painter originally from Los Angeles, CA currently working in Philadelphia, PA. She earned her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence in 2013 where she studied painting and philosophy. She co-founded and ran the contemporary art gallery, 99 Cent Plus Gallery from 2013-2016 in Brooklyn, New York. She received her MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in 2020. Through her painting she investigates the relationship between image and lived experience by means of figuration and abstraction.
