Patricia Renee' Thomas

Bio
Patricia Renee' Thomas is a Philadelphia based painter, drawer, and art educator. She holds a BFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture and is a current MFA candidate at University of Pennsylvania. She recently completed her one year 40th Street Artist Residency. Recent solo exhibitions include "Honey Suckles" at New Image Art Gallery (West Hollywood, CA) and "NEXT STOP" at 40th St Gallery (Philadelphia, PA). Her work has also been included in recent group shows at Kravets-Wehby Gallery (New York, NY); Field Projects (New York, NY); New Image Art Gallery (West Hollywood, CA); The Barnes Foundation (Philadelphia PA); and Chris White Gallery (Wilmington DE). Her work will be included in "Queen: Celebrating Black Womanhood" at the CCH Pounder Collection at The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit later this year. Thomas was a fine arts teacher at Church of the Advocate in North Philadelphia and is currently and oil painting instructor at Tyler School of Art and Architecture Continuing Education.
