Bio
Linnea Kniaz received her MFA from California Institute of the Arts in 2016. She has had solo exhibitions at Magenta Plains (New York, NY), Vacancy LA (Los Angeles, CA), Y2K Group (Brooklyn, NY) and a two-person presentation at Paula Cooper Gallery (New York, NY). Kniaz’s work has been included in group exhibitions at Fisher Parrish Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), Magenta Plains (New York, NY), LTD Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA), Human Resources (Los Angeles, CA), Torrance Shipman Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), Syracuse University (Syracuse, NY), and Bakersfield College (Bakersfield, CA), among others. Kniaz was awarded a teaching fellowship at the School of Architecture at China Academy of Art (Hangzhou, China) and has participated in residencies at 100 W Corsicana (Corsicana, TX) and Vermont Studio Center (Johnson, VT). Her artist’s book Amoria was published in 2019 by Space Sisters Press. Linnea Kniaz lives and works in Hudson, NY.
