Kate Klingbeil

Bio
Kate Klingbeil (b. 1990) is an artist originally from the midwest, currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Her thick, figurative work centers around ideas of femininty, sexuality, pleasure and psychology. Kate graduated from California College of the Arts with a BFA in 2012, and has attended residencies at Kala Art Institute and Acre. She has shown work at CRUSH Curatorial (NYC), Andrew Rafacz Gallery (Chicago), Hashimoto Contemporary (San Francisco), Left Field (San Louis Obispo) and Harpy Gallery (NJ).
