Dan Fig is a Brooklyn based painter and recent graduate of the Hunter MFA program. His paintings are amalgamations of cultural influences culled from travel, art historical reference, graphic design and advertising language, soccer matches, and more. These elements, in concert with one another and in their invented spaces, create a familiarity with a tendency toward the absurd.
