Bio
Dan Brewer is an artist from Chicago, IL. He studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. Brewer’s work explores the friction between the external world and people’s internal experiences thereof, the conflict between objective and subjective realities. The repetition of specific colors and marks throughout his work establishes a kind of vocabulary, with which he seeks to make tangible the role of fantasy in perception.
