Bio
Caroline Wells Chandler (American, b. 1985) lives and works in Queens, NY. He received his BFA from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX) in 2007 and his MFA from Yale University where he was awarded the Ralph Mayer Prize for proficiency in materials and techniques. From 2016-17 he was a recipient of the Sharpe Walentas Studio Program. Recent solo exhibitions presented at Union Gallery (London, England), Andrew Rafacz (Chicago, IL), and Lord Ludd (Philadelphia, PA). Group exhibitions include Choi and Lager (Cologne, Germany), Left Field (San Luis Obispo, CA), Nathalie Karg (New York, NY), Marinaro Gallery, (New York, NY), Crush Curatorial (New York, NY), Mrs. (Maspeth, NY), Dio Horia (Mykonos, Greece), Kate Werble Gallery (New York, NY), 11R (New York, NY), The Hole (New York, NY), and Field Projects (New York, NY). His work has been featured in The New York Times, Hyperallergic, The Huffington Post, TimeOut, Juxtapoz, Modern Painters, Maake Magazine, and AEQAI. Chandler currently has his first solo exhibition with Mrs. titled "Tutti Frutti," on view, April 6 through June 1, 2019.
