I drew the midsection of our collaborative composition, this is appropriate as I am the middle generation in our trio. My piece honors my cat Seine who recently went to the happy hunting ground. Seine was interested in all of my affairs for 14 years. She had a dark brown mouth, paws, ears, and tail. These were her coloration points or cool spots. Under her chin she was creamy white. Seine sat in very regal thoughtful poses that reassured me that everything was alright. Notice that her shoulders are uneven like mine. I teach financial modeling, research methods and other courses at Baruch and The School of Professional Studies of the City University of New York. Seine walked on my keyboard a lot and made me laugh while I was studying for my doctorate degree in Instructional Technology. —Adrienne Dorsey Wheeler, Ed.D.
